The Panbio Bordetella pertussis IgA ELISA test is for the qualitative detection of IgA antibodies to Bordetella pertussis, and may be used in the diagnosis of acute pertussis infection.

The Panbio Bordetella pertussis IgG ELISA is for the qualitative detection of IgG antibodies to B. pertussis in serum and as an aid in the clinical diagnosis of B. pertussis in patients with clinical symptoms consistent with whooping cough. The Panbio Bordetella pertussis IgG ELISA should be used in conjunction with other B. pertussis serologies.
