The Liquid Stable (LS) 2-Part Homocysteine Assay and EIA Homocysteine Assay are intended for in vitro quantitative determination of total homocysteine in human serum and plasma. They can assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients suspected of having hyperhomocysteinemia or homocystinuria.
Elevated blood levels of homocysteine have a predicted value for risk of coronary artery disease similar to that of elevated cholesterol levels.
The new liquid stable 2 reagent assay offers a rapid, simple, highly adaptable & accurate method for measurement of homocysteine on popular clinical chemistry platforms.
